Throughout the 2000s “The Pickled Beat” was alive and well. Our monthly publication included mortgage tips and jokes we found amusing. It was delivered as a hard copy mailer as well as published (and I use that term loosely) online.
For nostalgia purposes, assuming anyone actually has nostalgia about this stuff, here are a few images from the old Pickled Beat mortgage publication. In reality, every so often someone does bring it up, just for the record.
FUN OFFER! If you can dig through your old emails and come up with a Pickled Beat message, send it to me. I’d be willing to dig through our prize closet and send you something just for going to the effort.
This was the header we used for both online and mailer. The “Pickled Beat” was the pre-runner to “Sweet Mortgage Deals.” The tag that was used in the publication. Had the classic farm delivery look.
A bio is a funny thing, they’re usually written in the third person as if a journalist surprised you one morning ringing your doorbell. “What, you want to interview ME?”
The cold, hard truth is our business interest in each other really comes down to one thing: “can this person help me get what I want?”
In that spirit, my most basic hope, coupled with my deepest desire, is the products, service, knowledge, and experience I have acquired over the years can be laser-focused on one thing: helping you get what you want.
