Let’s Mastermind!

My two favorite Napoleons right here, both have great wisdom, but one of these is more applicable to us both.

Yesterday I spoke with two clients that called in with a couple of different ideas that they wanted to do with real estate. They wanted to do two totally separate concepts, and wanted some input. So I spent about a half hour with each and we went through some pretty cool ideas. They brought what their ideas to the table and we essentially took all of their assets, looked at some ideas we could use to move around given the current market, and came up with some pretty cool strategies.

So what’s the point?

Napoleon Hill, author of Think and Grow Rich, gave us the concept of masterminds. That is when two or more people form a friendly alliance and share their ideas. Then a new greater mind is formed between the two of them where you can get a lot of inspiration, ideas, and you can both move forward with what you’re looking to do. So that meeting yesterday with these two clients really was a mastermind session. They came to the table with their thoughts and I came to the table with thoughts. We put them together and came up with some pretty great stuff. 

Everybody has something they would like to do with their home or real estate. It could be something as small as ripping out carpet on the stairs, or as big as buying four Airbnb properties. We all have plans, ideas, dreams, and aspirations, and our real estate is really a tool to see the realization of those dreams. 

So what are you looking to do? Where are you wanting to get? Let’s put our brains together, like Napoleon Hill (maybe a little less Napoleon Dynamite) and let’s mastermind together and see if we can’t come up with a strategy that would work for you. 

Now that doesn’t mean you have to do anything today. If you want to buy an investment property next summer or something similar, now is the time to start masterminding and putting all the pieces together because you probably have some assets going for you that you’re not aware of. And you may also have some things working against you that you’re not aware of. So we want to make sure that all of that’s out on the table and let’s put our minds together and see if we can’t come up with a strategy.
